Voices of Trees: Yamazakura (Mountain Sakura)
Trees are great communicator with living beings and it’s surrounding. Rooted in one spot, it connects with its neighbours harmoniously or with tension at times. We can learn a great deal about our world and ourselves from listening to their voices. This sole Yamazakura surrounded by rapeseed field has been watching over the town for more than 120 years, bringing new life and vibrant energy with spring colours without fail every year.
